Job Description:
A System Programmer should have conceptual and practical experience in software development and control system programming to include AMX and Crestron system implementation and GUI design. The ideal candidate will have additional experience programming in JAVA, FLASH, HTML and .NET

Some of the responsibilities of this position include:

• Understand A/V signal flow diagrams and nomenclature.
• Develop, write and implement system control code to include touch panel GUI design and control logic.
• Adhere to PPI engineering standards and best practices.
• Collaborate and work with a team of Design Engineers, Applications Engineers, Project Managers, Integration Technicians, Account Managers and Clients.
• Perform system testing, commissioning and training.
• Other duties as assigned.

Some of the requirements of this position are:
The ideal candidate should have the following professional experience and personal attributes:

• Minimum of two years experience in the programming and implementation of AMX and Crestron control systems.
• Experience with a variety of software development platforms.
• Experience with AutoCAD and or WireCad
• Ability to trouble-shoot  and configure complex audio, video, switching and control systems;
• Familiarity with MS Project;
• Must be able to collaborate and work in a team environment;
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Contribute to the innovation and technical advancement of the Professional Products system design team.
