New Video Replay Control Room and Coaching System at Nationals Park

Gaithersburg, Maryland, May, 23, 2008 – Sony and Professional Products teamed up to provide the Washington Nationals (MLB) with a high definition (HD) Video Replay Control Room and Coaching System for the new ballpark; Nationals Park.

The replay system is centered around Sony’s MVS-8000G HD production switcher and the XDCAM HD recording format, and the project was the first virtual monitor wall application to utilize Sony’s new 50” HD LCD monitor, the GXD-L52H. 

Professional Products was contracted by Sony to provide all of the value-add engineering, project management and integration services based upon the Wrightson, Johnson, Haddon & Williams (WJHW) facility design.

This is another area sports facility project for PPI based on other area successful projects at the University of Virginia, Oriole Park and Camden Yards, M&T Bank Stadium, and Verizon Center.
