Accounts Payable Technician
The Accounts Payable Technician is primarily responsible for ensuring the accuracy of vendor invoices and is responsible for all payments of goods & services.


Applications Engineer
An Applications Engineer should have conceptual and practical experience in video production and system design to include advanced audio & video acquisition and distribution technology, broadcast server applications and automation and control systems.  IT knowledge to include Ethernet connectivity and design, network bandwidth requirements in high definition video and advanced video distribution technology (e.g. MPEG, MXF, video over IP) is a requirement.


Audio/Video Design Engineer
The Audio/Video Design Engineer should have conceptual and practical experience in A/V production and system design to include presentation technology, A/V distribution methodology; VTC integration; conference room and auditorium control systems, lighting, acoustics, and power requirements. Additional knowledge in high definition video and advanced video distribution technology (e.g. MPEG, MXF, video over IP) is a requirement.


Field Service Engineer Level 1
The Field Service Engineer troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains audio, video, and computer equipment throughout the Washington DC area and other locations around the country on occasion. He or she works on broadcast systems, audiovisual presentation systems, and computer networks.


Jr. Systems Integrator
This is an entry level position in which the junior systems integrator will have minimal experience with systems integration and is responsible for learning and training in system fabrication, rack preparation and integration both in-house and possibly on-site for promotion to a Systems Integrator position. All integrators must uphold a courteous, professional attitude towards clients and other employees; maintain a clean professional appearance as representative of Professional Products Inc. and conform to PPI dress code; sustain an organized work area that complies with safety regulations both in-house and on-site.


Network Systems Engineer
This Network Systems Engineer is primarily responsible for servicing large-scale video Storage Area Network (SAN) systems for broadcast clients.  Additionally, he or she will assist other engineers in the development, implementation, and promotion of remote monitoring and diagnostic capabilities through the PPI Service Department Network Operations Center (NOC).  This engineer consults with Application Engineers, Design Engineers, and others to specify equipment that maximizes the capabilities and serviceability of video networking solutions.  He or she configures equipment as necessary during integration, trains PPI personnel on video networking best practices, and acts as an advisor to the sales and technical teams.


Network Systems Engineer (NOC)
The Network Systems Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and promoting the PPI Service Department Network Operations Center (NOC).  This engineer specifies equipment that will maximize our ability to remotely monitor, diagnose, and resolve service issues in systems we design and install.  He or she configures equipment as necessary during integration, trains PPI personnel in using the NOC, and acts as a networking advisor to the sales and technical teams.


Production/Broadcast Design Engineer
The Production/Broadcast Design Engineer should have conceptual and practical experience in video production and broadcast system design to include digital video acquisition and distribution methodology; automation and control system; plant infrastructure, HVAC and power requirements. Additional knowledge in high definition video, digital asset management, and advanced video distribution technology (e.g. MPEG, MXF, video over IP) are a requirement.


Systems Integrator
The responsibilities of the Systems Integrator include performing all integration and project related matters, both in-house and on-site.  Overnight and extended travel is required by all integrators.  The Systems Integrator is required to practice and maintain all company policies and standards set forth by Professional Products Inc.
