Sony brought in Professional Products, Inc. (PPI) when they needed a company to design and integrate the Washington Nationals’ high-definition (HD) Video Replay Control Room and Coaching System at Nationals Park in Washington, DC. The Professional Products’ system includes video, audio and the infrastructure to make all of the visual elements that you see on game day a reality.  That includes player statistics, replays of an impressive occurrence within the game or displaying advertising on the 4,811 square foot HD scoreboard.  The key pieces of equipment contained within these areas include:

- HD production switcher	- 1080p (full HD) LCD monitor wall
- Touch panel control systems	- Pan and tilt cameras
- 6 channel slow motion replay	- SAN-based non-linear editing
- COFDM wireless camera systems	- Fiber optic point-of-view (POV) robotic camera systems

In a matter of months, PPI was able to complete the assignment, thereby allowing The Washington Nationals to have their opening day festivities occur on time for all of the patrons to enjoy the baseball game.
