It has come to my attention that following the recent death of our founder and my father Carter Kaufmann, that some in our community have decided that perhaps this is the time to question our company’s viability and or resilience.   Professional Products is, as it has been for more than 40 years, strong, healthy and a leader in our industry.  The last several years of operation have grown our reputation for intellectual and technical prowess.   Our development of MediaCache® as a concept, and as a series of systems, has allowed us to provide digital media acquisition and distribution utilizing file-based workflow to dozens of clients before most understood what it was.  We currently are delivering our 17th clinical skills and simulation center in the medical school space while we provide The Associated Press with its new headquarters based upon the same basis of technology.   I personally have been responsible for the day to day operations of PPI for more than three years now…and while all of PPI continues to mourn the unexpected and very sad loss of our spiritual leader, I am extremely proud of all of our employees who have pledged to carry on his tradition of personal and unparalleled service to both our clients and our vendor partners.   Thank you for taking the time to read this and I personally look forward to working with all of you.   Bruce Kaufmann President
